Barbaroslar met with the audience on TRT 1 with its first episode

The first episode of TRT 1’s new project “Barbaroslar Sword of the Mediterranean” met with the audience.

The series, which is about the rise of 4 brothers who came out of Mytilene, to rise against the dangers and become the conquerors of the seas, tells the adventure of Sipahi Yakup Ağa’s sons İshak, Oruç, Hızır and İlyas to turn into Barbaros brothers.

Directed by Doğan Ümit Karaca and written by Mustafa Burak Doğu and Ethem Arslan, the actors are Engin Altan Düzyatan, Ulaş Tuna Astepe, Yiğit Özşener, Yetkin Dikinciler, Pelin Akil Altan, Caner Topçu, İsmail Filiz, Gülcan Arslan, Devrim Evin, Melis Babadağ and Bahadır Yenişehirlioğlu.

The shooting of the series, produced by ES Film, continues in Antalya, Marmaris and Istanbul.

TRT General Manager Sobacı, in his speech here, said that “Barbaroslar Sword of the Mediterranean” was one of the most talked about TV series before it entered the screen.

Sobacı said, “The success of TRT, especially in historical and period dramas, was of course one of the most important factors in the discussion of this series. As TRT, we, as TRT, continue to focus and focus on projects or areas that private channels cannot focus on, in line with the public interest, taking into account the requirements of public broadcasting. we are working.” said.

Noting that the discovery of natural gas in the Black Sea, the political developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and the problems in the Aegean Sea reminded once again how important the seas and the concept of “Blue Homeland” are, Sobacı said that they hope to raise awareness about the concept of Blue Homeland with the series. stated.

Noting that they produced the first nautical series in the history of Turkish TV series, Sobacı continued as follows:
