Domestic car received TOGG design award

TOGG has become the first brand from Turkey to win an award in the field of mobility in the iF Design Award, one of the most prestigious design awards in the world, with the C-SUV model that will unload the first serial version from the tape in the last quarter of 2022. Designed after 150 thousand hours of work, the C-SUV was awarded in the “Professional Concept” category.

TOGG achieved an important success in the field of mobility with its C-SUV model at the iF Design Award 2021 (iF Design Awards), one of the most prestigious design awards in the world. This year, nearly 10 thousand products and projects from 52 countries competed in the iF Design Awards, which is known as the symbol of design excellence in the international arena and has been given since 1954. 98 independent judges from 21 countries made a comprehensive assessment to determine the best designs in the world. TOGG became the first Turkish brand to receive the iF Design Award in the field of mobility. Designed by the TOGG design team in collaboration with Pininfarina, with the guidance of Murat Günak, the TOGG C-SUV was awarded in the “Professional Concept” category.

“We are proud of our original design”

TOGG CEO M. Gürcan Karakaş, stating that they are proud to be deemed worthy of the award at the iF Design Award, said, “We realized our design goals and the technical definition of our vehicle based on user insights. We received support from our world-renowned designer Murat Günak, who recently joined our team as the Design Leader, in the process of reducing the number of design houses from 18 domestic and foreign design houses to 3 at the beginning, both in the formation of the final design theme and the selection of Pininfarina, which made this theme 3-dimensional . Crowning our original design, which we developed inspired by our culture and registered in 27 EU countries as well as China, Japan and Russia so far, with such a qualified award encourages us to do better ”.

TOGG will produce 5 different electric and connected models on the common platform by 2030.
