The use of plastic bags in Turkey decreased by 75 percent
With the application of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization on the pricing of plastic bags, which started on January 1, 2019, the use of plastic bags has decreased by 75 percent to date, while the generation of 354 thousand tons of plastic waste has been prevented.
