The 12-year Netanyahu era is officially over
The 12-year term of Netanyahu came to an end when the coalition government formed by the opposition parties in Israel received a vote of confidence in the Parliament. In the voting, with 60 deputies voting in favor and 59 deputies against, Netanyahu became the leader of the opposition, while Naftali Bennet became the prime minister.
