Derya Yanık, Minister of Family and Social Services, stated in a written statement that they initiated a new aid program called “Total Closure Social Assistance Program” in order to support households in need during the complete closure process.

Stating that the said aid program will be made for households who are considered to have periodic need due to the epidemic by the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations (SYDV), Yanık said:
“We received the applications for our previous Social Support Program via e-Government. We will make a ‘Totally Closed Social Assistance Program’ payment of 1100 lira per household to more than 2 million households that have previously applied via e-Government and have been identified by our SYDVs. “
Stating that the old and disabled pensions under Law No. 2022, which were paid in the same period, will be made together with the payments of the Full Closing Social Assistance Program, Yanık stated that the status of entitlement to the Full Closing Social Assistance Program is from the section titled “Social Aid Inquiry” of the Ministry of Family and Social Services via e-Government. reminded that it can be controlled.
183 million lira additional resources will be transferred to SYDVs
On the other hand, it was stated by the Ministry that the support payments will be made to the bank accounts of those who have bank account information in e-Government applications before, and to the PTT cards of those who do not have bank account information in their applications.
Support payments for people who do not have bank account information and who do not use PTT cards will be delivered to their residences until Eid al-Fitr.
The Ministry will also transfer an additional 183 million lira to continue the support to other households supported by the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations.
