Kayseri Model Factory (KMF) and Kayseri Chamber of Industry (KAYSO) Chairman of the Board Mehmet Büyüksimitci stated that companies operating with the KMF model in the city increased their daily production by up to 80 percent.

The Model Factory, which started its activities a while ago in Kayseri, one of the leading industrial cities of Turkey, has made significant contributions to the increase of productivity and digitalization by solving the problems of the industrial establishments in the region as well as the city.

Making a written statement on the subject, Büyüksimitci underlined that the daily production of 6 companies working with KMF increased by approximately 80 percent.

In his statement, Büyüksimitci stated that the feedback received from the companies and the results they received were pleasing for the Kayseri industry, and used the following statements:

“Within the body of KMF, training and field applications consisting of 20 modules were carried out within the scope of lean thinking for the points open to improvement determined in the companies. According to the improvement process of each company, a daily production increase of between 40 and 80 percent was achieved. Other than the increase in production, gains were achieved at different points. was done.”

Emphasizing the necessity of keeping in touch with KMF in order for the enterprises in the project to become sustainable in terms of lean techniques, Büyüksimitci added that they are ready to support as much as they can when the industrialists demand support, especially with the KMF, which was established to serve the industrialists.
