Minister Koca said on social media, “Our provinces with the lowest number of cases in the last week are Kırklareli, Çanakkale, Düzce, Istanbul and Tekirdağ. The decrease in the number of cases will be widely experienced in all our provinces.” said.
Other provinces with the lowest number of cases
According to the chart shared by Minister Koca, the other provinces with the lowest number of cases were Erzincan, Giresun, Yalova, Kocaeli and Edirne.
Decrease in the number of cases in the eastern provinces
Minister Koca announced the number of cases according to the provinces that took place in the week of 1-7 May yesterday evening. While the number of cases decreased in the provinces in the East, the rate of cases increased only in Ardahan. The number, which was 251.66 per 100 thousand people on 24-30 April in the city, rose to 255.82 this week. The province with the highest decrease in the number of cases was Erzincan. The number, which was 428.70 per 100 thousand people in the city last week, was determined as 270.02 in the new table. Erzurum, on the other hand, was among the provinces with a high number of cases throughout Turkey, although the decrease in the rate of cases continued. The number which was 395.24 per 100 thousand people on 24-30 April in the city decreased to 303.58 in the new week.
One of the provinces with a decrease in the number of cases was Kars, which fell from 293.04 to 227.78. In Ağrı, the number, which was 285.00 in the previous case table, was determined as 264.27 in the new week. In Muş, the case rate fell below 100. The number, which was 113.11 in the city, fell to 95.11 this week. In Iğdır, the number that was 159.45 per 100 thousand people in the previous table fell to 153.99.
