TEKNOFEST, the world’s largest Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, will hold the grand finale in Samsun, with events this year in the Black Sea Region, on August 30-September 4.
The final part of the events organized by the Türkiye Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, together with 101 institutions, including ministries, presidencies, public and private sector organizations, academic institutions and media companies that play a critical role in Türkiye’nin national technology ecosystem, Samsun It will be held at the Wednesday Airport.
TEKNOFEST was held this year in Samsun, where the national struggle began throughout the Black Sea Region.
While various technology competitions are held in the provinces of the region, technology, science, aviation flight shows, exhibitions, summits, workshops, award ceremonies, stage shows and concerts will be held in the final part of TEKNOFEST Black Sea for 6 days.
Türkiye’nin leading public and private sector companies will take part in TEKNOFEST Black Sea, recently developed national technology products will be exhibited.
Aircraft can be closely examined
Bayraktar Akıncı Attack Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (TİHA), Bayraktar TB2, Hürkuş, Atak helicopter, Gökbey helicopter and Aksungur will perform flight demonstrations in the Black Sea. The magnificent aerobatic flights of Solo Turkish and Turkish Stars with F-16 aircraft belonging to the Turkish Armed Forces will carry the festival excitement to its peaks.
In the static exhibition area, Bayraktar Kızılelma, Hürjet, Akıncı TİHA, F-16, F-4, AS-532 EuroCopter, T-38, CN-235 CASA, CN-235 CASA, Atak-II, Hürkuş, Bayraktar TB2, AB 412 Aircraft such as , Anka, Göksey, Bell 429 and Melle Combat Plane will be able to be closely examined by visitors.
Technology events and concerts
While the “Stage is Yours” event organized as part of the festival will share the fun of the youth, students will experience an adventure full of science, technology and space in the educational workshops.
Refik Anadol “Memories of Machinery: Space Exhibition”, science shows, vertical wind tunnel, experience trucks and virtual reality tunnel will offer the participants the opportunity to meet and experience different technologies. Various activities that appeal to visitors of all ages will be held at the stakeholder-sponsor and exhibitor stands.
Ground-bound balloon flights and first-flight events will keep young people off the ground at the festival.
Within the scope of TEKNOFEST concerts, Kıraç, Zara, Uğur Işılak, Resul Dindar and İlyas Yalçıntaş will take the stage.
More than 150 thousand teams applied, more than 7 million liras will be awarded
TEKNOFEST technology competitions, organized within the scope of the festival to support the projects of thousands of young people working in these fields with the aim of increasing the interest of young people in producing and developing national technology, were held in 40 main areas and 99 different categories this year.
More than 150 thousand teams and more than 600 thousand participants from 81 provinces and 107 countries applied to the competitions. More than 22 million liras of material support was provided to the teams that passed the qualifying stage.
The teams that competed in TEKNOFEST and qualified for the rankings will be awarded more than 7 million TL.
