First, we saw that the installation was completed in Bolu, adjacent to the Tesla Supercharger station. Secondly, new charging stations with different designs produced by Star Charge for Trugo were shared. Here are the details…
In the past period, we shared that Tesla decided to enter Türkiye officially. We even saw that job postings were opened for people who would work here and the locations of charging stations were shared. Afterwards, the first station was installed in Bolu.
Today, Trugo’s new 180 kW charging stations have been installed in Bolu. Currently, it is stated that 6 stations that can charge 12 vehicles at the same time have been established. But Togg has received dozens of these devices. Therefore, we may see installation news from different regions in the coming days.
In addition, we saw the delivery of tens of 180 kW charging stations produced for Trugo by Vestel, one of Togg’s co-partners, Zorlu Holding. You can find photos of these stations below.
Trugo’s 2nd charging station with a different design has emerged!
We see that Trugo has made an agreement with the company called Wanbang Digital Energy (Star Charge), which is famous in the Asian market, for the production of a second charging station with a different design. Images were shared showing that the new ones of these 180 kW stations were delivered today.
In the first phase, 1000 stations will be installed in 81 provinces. This means that 2,000 vehicles can be charged at 180 kW via DC at the same time. Togg cars, which are charged with 180 kW, will fill between 20 percent and 80 percent in 25 minutes. In other words, vehicles will gain a range of 7.5 km per minute.
In the post made by Togg, it was said:
“The 180 kW chargers of Star Charge, one of the Trugo partners, are ready for installation. We continue our work without slowing down to provide an uninterrupted experience with high-performance charging infrastructure in Türkiye’s 81 provinces.”
