The first delivery of Aksungur AUAV was made to the Naval Forces Command

The first delivery of Aksungur, an armed unmanned aerial vehicle (AUAV) developed within the Turkish defense industry, was made to the Naval Forces Command.

President of the Presidency Defense Industry, İsmail Demir, shared on his Twitter account, “We delivered the first Aksungur. The domestic and national Aksungur AUAV, produced by TAI, has successfully completed the tests and delivered to NFC (Naval Forces Command). Aksungur AUAV has a useful load capacity of 750 kilograms and a minimum of at least 750 kilograms of payload. It has a maximum flight time of 50 hours. Good luck.” made statements.

Aksungur AUAV, which was developed in a short period of 18 months based on the Anka platform, has the capacity to perform uninterrupted multi-role intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and attack missions with its high payload capacity, provides operation flexibility beyond the line of sight with its SATCOM payload.

Aksungur, which made its first flight in 2019, has been integrated with 3 different EOIR cameras, 2 different SATCOM, 500 lb class Teber 81/82, Wing Guidance Kit 82, domestic engine PD170.

In addition to these studies, Aksungur’s flight in the field, which started its first field mission in the second quarter of 2021, left behind 1000 hours.
